Bio
Randall Hutto is a life long
resident of Wilson County. Growing up in Watertown, he attended Watertown
Elementary and graduated from Watertown High School. Randall earned a
Bachelor of Science degree from Middle Tennessee State University in 1984,
and would continue his education with a Master’s plus 30 degree in Education
from Trevecaa Nazarene College.
He began his career in
education at Lebanon High School in1984, teaching U. S. History, Math, and
Physical Education. During his tenure at Lebanon High, he utilized his
passion for both young people and athletics as an assistant varsity football
coach for 16 years, and led the Blue Devils Boys’
Varsity Basketball team as head coach for 12 years.
After an 18 year career
at Lebanon High School, Randall accepted the opportunity to serve as
Assistant Director of Schools for the Lebanon Special School District in
2003.
Randall
began a new and challenging career in September of 2010, when the citizens
of Wilson County elected him to serve as Wilson County Mayor.
He and his
wife, Paula, have been married for over 24 years, and have three children,
Alex, a student at Tennessee Tech, Megan, a student at Lebanon High School
and Brett, a student at Winfree Bryant Middle School. Randall and his
family are members of Immanuel Baptist Church, where he teaches Sunday
School and serves as a deacon. He is a member of the Lebanon, Mt. Juliet,
and Watertown Chambers of Commerce, and an active member of the Lebanon
Breakfast Rotary Club.

Volunteers Needed
Mayor Hutto is actively seeking
volunteers to help in three different groups for the county. They are
Parks and Recreation, Veterans Plaza and Museum fund raising and ideas,
and
Tourism. If you would like information
on these areas, or to volunteer your time to any of these areas, please
contact the Mayor's office at 444-1383 or by email at info@wilsoncountytn.com.
MAYOR'S SPEAKING SCHEDULE
The Mayor visits Mount
Juliet and Watertown on the last Wednesday of every month.
There are no appointments set for these
meetings. If you wish to speak to the Mayor during one of
these visits you are welcome to do so.

Parks and
Recreation Group
This group will
help us look at grants for all parks in Wilson County
1. 3 Forks in Watertown
2. Don Fox in Lebanon
3. Charlie Daniels and Mundy Park in Mt. Juliet
4. The Ward Ag Center
5. Possible other parks in our other communities or help with
others that we already have, such as the ball field at Norene, the
one in Gladeville and something for Statesville and Cottage Home.
Tourism Volunteer Group
This group will
help us with projects to enhance tourism in our county.
1. Visitors
Center - grant and placement
2. To welcome groups that come to Wilson County.
3. To identify 12 signature events that put Wilson County on
the map as the place to be. Then to advertise these events on
the billboards of surrounding counties.
4. To continue with the Wilson County - The Place To Be!
program.
5. To continue with the Wilson County the Place to Be license
plate program.
6. To design an in-county tour for tourists to see all that we
have to offer.
7. To improve the Gateways into Wilson County
Veteran's
Park and Museum
This group will
help with the ongoing fundraising efforts for the Veteran's Park and
Museum and ideas that help to make this a reality.
